Types of Photography

Here are 20 common photography types you can use in your prompts. You can use these as stand alone, i.e. by themselves (for example when testing an sref) or as part of a longer prompt to guide the AI to the specific photography type you want.

For some styles (srefs) you may also need to use stylize to generate photographic images (vs. illustrations). Typically adding --stylize 400 or more will do the trick.

Notes.

Some srefs will not generate photorealistic or 'true' specific type of photos without other advanced techniques. This is because of that particular srefs style influences.

The aspect ratio can also affect whether you get a photorealistic image or not - to a degree. Test different aspect ratios and stylize values. I'm using 2:3 aspect ratio for all of these.

The prompt for all of the example images is simply the type of photography e.g. aerial photography, followed by aspect ratio, sref (if any), and stylize:
